Lot Description

Undated (Circa 1694) London Elephant Token. GOD PRESERVE LONDON. Hodder 2-B, W-12040. Thick Planchet. AU-53 BN (NGC). Attractive medium brown surfaces, with smooth wear on the uppermost points of the design and minimal handing problems. The strike is typical with the elephant well defined. Scarce and ever popular for the cameo appearance of the elephant on the obverse and historic shield reverse.
