- Undated (ca.1663-1672) St. Patrick Farthing. Breen-208, W-11500. Copper. Nothing Below King. VG-10 (PCGS). Gold Shield Holder.
A handsome Choice VG example of this scarce and challenging early Colonial era type. Both sides exhibit mottled charcoal highlights to otherwise medium brown surfaces. Pleasingly smooth in hand with no significant marks or other post-production blemishes. Shallow, nearly straight planchet clip at 1 o'clock relative to the obverse, the brass plug is readily evident, although it is widely misplaced in the center of the coin.
Provenance: Collector tags with attribution notes included.
PCGS# 42.
