A truly wonderful and beautiful Proof Barber quarter! A totally original toned, ultra reflective SUPERB GEM caliber example with highly reflective fields and wonderfully frosted devices. Bands of rainbow toning grace the surfaces, adding to the extremely high end visual allure. A strong glass proves that this coin was lovingly cared for since it was struck, with flawless surfaces and totally awesome eye appeal! Only 755 Proofs were struck. PCGS 12, NGC 8, CAC 9. The most recent example brought $6,169 in our October 2019 Regency Event Auction, featuring the Young-Dakota Collection. RARE any finer, we sold a PCGS PR68 CAC in January 2018 for $14,688.
