1814 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-2. AU-55 (PCGS). CAC. Richly and vividly toned, this is a supremely attractive coin worthy of bids that are far in excess of what would normally be required to secure an 1814 O-107 half dollar at the AU-55 grade level. The obverse is drenched in a bold blend of deep gray, olive-blue, antique gold and rose-apricot. Similar colors adorn the reverse, but with a pronounced target-like distribution.
