FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION. This is a totally original toned GEM example of this final Seated Liberty date. Bold, watery reflective fields are bathed in a russet-gold tone. The surfaces are clean and free of any distracting marks, we really are not sure why this visually alluring example did not receive a CAC bean. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 34, NGC 32, CAC 13. We sold the most recent example in our August 2018 Premier Session for $1,320 and that coin did not have the bold, visual allure of this GEM - we think it will sell for closer to the $1,500 Collectors Universe value.
