Lot Description

Die State 108.5. Bright and completely untoned with abundant traces of luster still visible. Extensive die cracks (as made), clash marks (also as struck) and evidence of die deterioration at the borders confirm a very late die state, but the central devices remain overall bold in the absence of all but light wear. Smooth-looking surfaces reveal no outwardly noticeable abrasions.
