Lot Description

Breen Die State III. Dominant deep olive-copper patina lightens to warmer rose-brown over most of the design elements. The surfaces are microgranular, but present as pleasingly smooth during in-hand viewing given the general lack of sizeable marks. A faint vertical scratch on Liberty's bust and dull field mark before the chin require intent to discern. A boldly defined and handsome Draped Bust cent in certified VF.
