Lot Description

A handsome honey-apricot example with a sharp strike and full mint frost to both sides. Although relatively easy to obtain in lower Mint State grades, the 1905 is far scarcer than the truly common Liberty Head eagles from the 20th century. Wonderfully original examples such as this can be particularly elusive, confirming the significance of this offering for gold enthusiasts.
