1853 Braided Hair Cent. N-1. Rarity-2. Grellman State-b. MS-64BN (PCGS). Rich chocolate brown with bold overtones of bluish steel. Lustrous and quite striking, though close inspection reveals a couple of small spots and nicks on the nose and chin. A sharp example of the middle die state. EAC:AU58 PCGS# 405976.
