Losbeschreibung: 1788 Vermont Copper. RR-25, Bressett 16-U, W-2195. Rarity-3. Bust Right. VF-25. 127.2 grains. Deep golden-tan with some lighter highlights on mostly hard surfaces. Obverse off-center slightly to the right, rim tight to tops of AUCTORI, die break at neck, shallow toned-over line above RMON near rim, scattered central ticks, as struck, otherwise no marks of import, reverse off-center to right, rim tight to tops of ET LIB, tiny planchet hit below shield at rim, otherwise no marks worthy of reporting. Absolutely choice for the grade, variety, and type -- one is tempted to tack on a few grading points simply by the overall look of the planchet. PCGS# 563.
