Lot Description

This coin is light years superior to the typical PR66 RD you see. It has so much quality and life! Deep mirrors are almost endless. They have an intensity so powerful the flash competes with the sun! The mirrors are also very clean and have strong clarity. When you twirl this coin, the mirrors look like a freshly made sheet of glass. The contrast is bold. Both sides are a GEM original Mint red color. There are NO black spots or discolorations. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and has thick frost. The eye appeal is breathtaking! Only 725 minted. PCGS 4, NGC 3, CAC 3 (probably a resubmission is included). PCGS has graded 2 of these with none higher. There is a current Collectors universe Value of $12,500. NO PCGS CAC piece has ever been sold via auction. Regular PR66RD's have brought $10-$15,000, and that was at least 3 years ago. This is a rare date in full GEM RD, let alone in Cameo.
