Lot Description

Among the finer known pieces, there are only four graded higher at PCGS of this popular centennial year Carson City dime. Frosty untoned silver surfaces have a strong satiny bloom all over. Generally well struck from rusted dies, there is just a hint of weakness seen when looking closely with a glass. Overall the eye appeal is mint fresh and very pleasing. PCGS 22, NGC 20, CAC 7. The most recent PCGS/CAC MS66 sold for $2,755 in October 2021. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,250 and the CAC CPG value is listed at $3,380. VERY RARE any finer, there are only four in MS67 finer at PCGS and if one was to come to market, it would likely bring $15,000 with CAC approval.
