Lot Description

Partially lustrous in the fields and well struck on the devices. Toned with splashes of coppery-gold here and there on the reverse, lighter orange-gold elsewhere. The surfaces are mint fresh and pleasing, with minimal nicks or hairlines from careless handling. Despite a mintage of 51,017 pieces, not many survived at all, especially so in high grade. A delight for the specialist of the Carson City mint or date collector who demands high eye appeal and quality.
