This is a delightful double eagle with both sides sharply to fully struck and exhibiting an overall smooth, satin to softly frosted texture. Warm rose-orange color provides additional appeal. Almost certainly from the treasure of the SS <em>Brother Jonathan</em>, such pieces are not often available today, as most owners hold on to them tightly.
