Lot Description

1860-S Liberty Half Eagle. EF-45 (PCGS). This is a condition rarity at this grade level and a handsome collector coin. The mintage of 21,200 pieces seems to have all but disappeared as less than 100 are known today in all grades. A single mint state example has been seen by PCGS, and not many have been seen as high as About Uncirculated. Clean surfaces and the color is pleasing with a uniform light yellow-gold on both sides.
