- Venerable Consignment. Top Pop. WB-102, die pair 2, medium mintmark, baseball die crack reverse. The appellation references an array of die cracks from a shattered reverse die that superficially echo the seams of a baseball. Even with that exceptional attraction set aside, this is an outstanding 1841-O which displays pale aluminum-grey character surrounded by dappled, darker hues on the obverse rims. For a New Orleans emission, the strike seems profoundly executed, popping up thirteen all of the obverse stars in high definition. Innumerable tiny carbon flyspecks scatter over portions of the reverse.
