1873 Trade Dollar. Proof-63 (NGC). CAC. Vivid cobalt blue and reddish-apricot peripheral toning gives way to delicate golden iridescence toward the centers on both sides of this attractively original specimen. A lovely example of the premier Proof trade dollar issue, survivors of which are scarcer than those of the more highly regarded Proof-only issues of 1878 to 1883. PCGS# 7053. NGC ID: 27YJ.
