FROM THE DAVID POOLE COLLECTION OF THREE CENT NICKELS. Ultra bold mirrors, reflect the light with intense flash. Sharply struck and very frosted, this PQ GEM has a light layer of patina attesting to its unconserved status. Sharply struck with frosty devices that contrast nicely against the mirrored fields. Really gemmy eye appeal. PCGS 5, NGC 8. The most recent example to sell in auction was CAC-approved and realized $3,600 in December 2017; a few months earlier, one sold in the ANA auction for $6,463.
