1806 C-4 R1 Large 6 with Stems PCGS graded MS62 Red & Brown, CAC Approved.Frosty steel brown and light olive with slightly faded mint red in protected areas on both sides. The surfaces are lustrous and this half cent offers excellent eye appeal. The best identifying marks, and they are trivial, are a small pinscratch in the field left of the main curl and a tiny puff of steel blue toning nestled between the top of the 1 and the hair above. MDS, Manley state 1.0 late. The repunching on the 6 is clear. The reverse is rotated 35 degrees clockwise resulting in a soft strike on the bust tip and the opposing leaves at the top of the wreath, both typical for the variety. Our grade is MS62+.The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer in 64 for the variety.Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
