The Lakewood Collection. 3 in F-15 and 342 higher at NGC. The first thought that came to mind when seeing this 1853-D half-eagle was, "Wow that is cool!". With original surfaces and even wear, this F-15 example from the coveted Dahlonega Mint proves that cool coins with awesome eye appeal exist in all grades. This example has no distracting marks or spots, just honest wear with even a hint of original mint luster around the devices on the obverse.
