WOW! WOW! WOW! This monster SUPERB GEM has multiple wow factors! It is amazing in every way! In the non FB designation, this coin ranks among the absolute FINEST graded in the entire series! The state of preservation is essentially other worldly! The surfaces are pristine! with a strong glass we can see only a tiny tick hidden in the reverse details. Intense, frosty luster blooms brilliantly through the vivid crimson, violet, and orange gold toning that dominates both sides. Save for the central band on the reverse, the details are sharply rendered from an impeccable strike. The obverse shows multiple advanced die cracks, suggesting that this may have been one of the last ones produced with this obverse adding something special to the coolness factor. PCGS 11, NGC 7, CAC 4. This is one of just three that sit at the very Top of the Population. Only one other 68+ has ever sold in auction, realizing $7,638 in our June 2019 Regency Auction.
