Lot Description

Lightly toned in golden-gray, this frosty and minimally marked Choice EF retains shows sharp striking detail in virtually all areas. Although the 1873-CC is the more available Carson City Mint issue of the brief Liberty Seated, Arrows half dollar of 1873 to 1874, survivors are still scarce, becoming rare when in grades at or near the Mint State level. Most were worn out and eventually lost in circulation and a fair number of survivors are impaired. In a "straight-graded" PCGS EF-45 holder, the present example is sure to appeal to many discerning bidders.
