The Crimson Collection. JR-1, one of the common die-marriages for 1831. That said, this example looks uncommonly nice for AU-55 as it displays practically full luster, aluminum-grey patina and occasional hints of rim tone. Aside from one microscopic PVC dot, there is nothing whatsoever to detract from the enticing, near-mint appearance. Truly terrific quality at the grade.
