1892 Barber Half Dollar. MS-66+ (PCGS). CAC. Gold Shield Holder. Exquisite premium Gem surfaces are dressed in rich, vivid, multicolored toning that really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Intensely lustrous with a razor sharp strike to boot, this is clearly one of the finest examples of this popular type issue from the first year of the Barber half dollar series. From a circulation strike mintage of 934,000 pieces, Mint State survivors of which are relatively plentiful in today's market thanks to the fact that many coins were set aside at the time of issue.
