Truly a rare date Seated quarter! Only 84,000 were stuck, and most entered circulation and remained there for a long time. Most known specimens are circulated, PCGS CoinFacts estimates 225 survivors in all grades, with only 6 coins in mint state. This deep dove-gray toned coin has moderately worn surfaces and a pleasing eye appeal. PCGS 5, NGC 1. The most recent auction appearance was in August 2010, where one sold for $2,760.
