- 1858 Pattern Flying Eagle Cent. Judd-193, Pollock-236. Rarity-5. Copper-Nickel. Plain Edge. Proof-64 (NGC).
Obverse: regular-issue Flying Eagle cent die. Reverse: oak wreath with ornamental shield at top. Deep golden-tan with much reflectivity in the fields. The devices are sharp and somewhat frosty, and both sides enjoy lively rose and peach iridescence in a bright light source. An ever-popular Flying Eagle cent pattern in a wholly collectable grade.
