1884 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. Proof-68+ Cameo (NGC). A truly remarkable Superb specimen that presents as fully brilliant over both sides. The strike is expectantly bold and contrast, particularly on the obverse, is most impressive. Few Proof three cent nickel issues were produced with the care given to those struck in 1884, and this "top-of-the-pop" piece is no exception. NGC Census: 1; none finer within the designation.
