- Terrific metallic sheen seems to spin while the coin is rotated beneath a good light, in spite of modestly prevalent smoky violet-grey toning. Less abraded than usual for a bag-stored dollar. As seems usual for the date (and 1860-O), the reverse appears about fully detailed while Liberty's head features minor softness of strike.
