- Well detailed for the date, the reverse features a full, sharp horn and most of the intricate design elements fundamental to the bison's portrait, albeit the tail has become somewhat flattened due to the eroded (i.e. aged) die. Two darker toning spots land on the Indian's portrait, joined by a couple of smaller spots, but they are spread out enough so as not to be specifically distracting. Pleasing neon violet glows from within some of the deeper recesses of the design.
