- 1861-O Seated Liberty Half Dollar. WB-102. CSA Obverse. VF-30 (PCGS). CAC. The CSA Obverse attribution is not denoted on the PCGS insert. Light silver-gray with darker gray-gold accents surrounding the devices and lettering. Clean surfaces that show minor circulation evidence, but no deep marks are present. The crack from the rim to the bridge of Liberty's nose is advanced and prominent, confirming that this coin was struck by the Confederacy after the four presentation half dollars were coined with the same obverse die. Always in strong demand for this historic issue and especially desirable so well preserved.
