1798/7 Draped Bust Cent. S-152. Rarity-2. VF-20 (PCGS). Deep golden-brown patina mingles with even bolder steel-brown highlights on both sides of this pleasing example. There is appreciable gloss to the hard, tight surfaces. Close inspection with a loupe reveals scattered marks, although only a few are readily evident. With all major design elements bold and the borders well defined, this is a desirable mid grade example of a popular overdate large cent variety. PCGS# 1440. NGC ID: 2245.
