1793/2 Washington Ship Halfpenny. Musante GW-20, Baker-18, W-10855. Copper. Lettered Edge. AU-53 (PCGS). 163.8 grains. Handsome glossy chocolate-brown and tan surfaces are overall smooth and very attractive. The strike is bold and sure to please. The portrait of Washington used on this type is attributed to John Gregory Hancock, one of England's most accomplished die-sinkers and engravers of his day. Provenance: From the Norman G.
