1859 Three-Dollar Gold Piece. MS-62 (PCGS). Lovely rose-gold patina and softly frosted luster blends nicely over both sides of this sharply struck example. Scarce in all Mint State grades, with the vast majority of 1859 three-dollar gold pieces extant show varying degrees of circulation.
