1872 Indian Cent. Proof-64 RD (PCGS). Bursts of powder blue, pale gold and pinkish-apricot iridescence enliven otherwise rose-red color on both sides of this exceptionally attractive specimen. From a mintage of approximately 950 Proofs, high grade survivors such as this scarce in their own right and enjoying heightened demand in today's market given the rarity of the circulation strike 1872 cent in full Red Mint State.
