1807 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-105, T-4. Rarity-1. AU-58 (NGC). This boldly toned example features a blend of sandy-gray and steely-charcoal. Glints of luster emanate from the protected areas around the design elements, all of which retain plenty of bold to sharp striking detail. Second of the truly high mintage United States half dollar issues, and last of the Draped Bust design type, the 1807 is a perennial favorite among type collectors, especially in the finer circulated and all Mint State grades, as here.
