1872 Shield Nickel. MS-66 (NGC). OH. This is a beautiful Gem bathed in a blend of satiny mint luster and warm golden-apricot patina. Expertly and uncommonly well preserved, both sides are silent on the subject of even trivial blemishes. With a razor sharp strike to boot, this impressive piece would make an important addition to a high grade type or date set.
