Lot 437 1913. Type 2. NGC graded MS-66.Lightly toned. After the initial release of the Type 1 Buffalo nickels it was determined that the bison needed to be standing on a more solid line instead of a rock, so the lower portion of the master hub was changed to put the bison on more solid footing.
