Charmingly original surfaces are dusted with pearl gray iridescence that is a bit warmer on the obverse. Lustrous and frosty, both sides also reveal semi-reflective qualities in the fields as the coin rotates under good lighting. With a universally sharp strike and pleasantly smooth appearance in hand, there is much to recommend this San Francisco Mint trade dollar for Mint State type purposes.
