FROM THE HUNTER COLLECTION. Ex Donald R. Frederick Collection. A lustrous example from the later A-die state with clashed dies and reverse die crack. Pale silver centers yield to some soft blue and deeper gold at the extreme periphery. There are some light contact marks, normal for a coin with this kind of wear, but they do not detract from the eye appeal. PCGS 134, NGC 46. This coin sold in April 2010 for $863 and the current Collector's Universe value is listed at $1,100.
