1836 Classic Head Quarter Eagle. HM-4. Rarity-1. Head of 1835, Script 8, No Berry. MS-61 (NGC). With warm orange-olive color, full mint frost and a well executed strike, this attractive BU example comes highly recommended for Mint State gold type purposes. A swirl of variegated color centered on the letter D in the denomination is noted, but there are no marks worthy of singular attention. Provenance: From the Kohler Wisconsin Collection. PCGS# 7694.
