- 1864 Silver Three-Cent Piece. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC.
A frosty specimen with subtle champagne-gold peripheral toning and appreciable semi-reflective qualities in the fields. The 1864 is a scarce, key date silver three-cent issue with just 12,000 circulation strikes produced.
Provenance: From the Jerome S. Reznick Collection. Earlier from our (Bowers and Ruddy's) Robert Marks Collection, Part II sale, November 1972, lot 747. Collector tag with provenance notation included.
