Lot 428 1848 N-22 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Brown.Frosty light to medium chocolate brown with an aura of lighter steel brown toning around Ms Liberty. Hints of very faded mint red show in protected areas on the reverse. No marks or other defects. LDS, die state e, with a strong die line through the top of the N in ONE. In addition there is a deceptive but probably faux rim cud break at the second A in AMERICA (careful inspection recommended). Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#7 with several others in the Grellman census. Estimate Value $400 - UP
