1870-CC Seated Liberty Half Dollar. WB-101. Good-6 (NGC). This is an appealing piece for the grade, both sides quite smooth with even, original, silver-gray patina. All major devices are well outlined, with the date and CC mintmark clear. A historic and key date issues, the first year 1870-CC is one of the rarest Carson City Mint half dollars in all grades. Original mintage: just 54,617 pieces.
