Lot Description

1926-S Mercury Dime. MS-64 (PCGS). This is a radiant and original example sporting subtle traces of bronze patina across otherwise brilliant surfaces. The luster is uniform and satiny, complementing the largely unmarked fields. The 1926-S issue is one of the lower mintage dates of the series with only 1,520,000 produced. Even low grade examples are in high demand, and this splendid near Gem will undoubtedly be a highlight of any advanced collection of the Mercury dime series. Provenance: From the William J.
