Undated (Circa 1694) London Elephant Token. GOD PRESERVE LONDON. Hodder 2-B, W-12040. Thick Planchet. AU-50. 197.53 grains. Glossy deep chestnut-brown surfaces reveal few marks to the unaided eye, though low magnification reveals some areas of faint porosity with a notable patch of roughness at PR on the reverse. Still, a visually pleasing example of this popular token issue. PCGS# 55. Provenance: Paper envelope included.
