Lot Description

158.7 grains. Glossy medium brown with really excellent eye appeal for the grade. Well centered on the obverse, aligned a bit to the lower left on the reverse. There's not a single mark of consequence on either side and the rims are clean, the only issue we'd note is a bit of old buildup around design elements, the kind of encrustation that assures the viewer of originality without doing any harm to the visual appeal. The die state is early, with just a very light crack to the P of PLURIBUS, early within SHI Die State 2. While this piece is a good distance from the Condition Census, composed exclusively of Mint State and AU coins, it is pretty much perfect for the grade.
