Lot Description
Undated (possibly ca. 1793) Washington Success Medal. Small Size. Musante GW-44, Baker-267, W-10875. Brass. Reeded Edge. AU-50 (PCGS). OGH. A premium example of this popular Washington type, with satiny surfaces that are smooth and evenly toned in warm olive-gold. Striking detail is otherwise sharp, softness to the eye in the center of the reverse is typical for the type, although we stress that this feature shows more definition than many other examples. With faint traces of original satin luster remaining, this is a superior About Uncirculated survivor that is sure to appeal to advanced collectors. PCGS# 783.
