- 1853 Braided Hair Cent. N-33. Rarity-2. Grellman State-b. MS-64BN (PCGS).
Rich chocolate on the obverse with subtle steel striations and flecks of red. The reverse is more golden olive brown with faded orange near the rims. An old nick at the truncation and a light spot in the O of ONE, but neither is serious. Another very attractive, boldly lustrous cent.
