Ultra brilliant, at first glance you would think this coin would have a higher grade! Both sides are dripping with vibrant original mint luster that is blinding with its bold, rolling cartwheels. Razor sharp in definition, the design elements are fully and crisply defined and Liberty's cheek is thickly frosted and shows just a single glossy contact spot. Exceptionally well preserved, this CHOICE Mint State example has the look of an even higher grade! The 2013 discovery of tin cans of gold coins on a family's property in Northern California made international news. In all 178 1892-S $20's were found, including several GEMS that were finer than anything known before that. 19 coins graded MS63+. Housed in the original gold foil Saddle Ridge Hoard holder. PCGS 814, NGC 445, CAC 33. PCGS has graded 40 in MS63+, including those 19 from the Saddle Ridge Hoard, and likely includes duplication.
