- 8 graded MS-66, one higher at NGC. Bordering up on the claim for finest known, this superb-gem 1857 displays a sharp strike from dies that were modestly rotated clockwise. Interestingly, it is a date known for some specimens taken off of heavily rotated dies. Voluminous frosty luster billows up off of the surfaces and emphasize distraction-free quality, just as expected of the grade. Indeed, it isn't easy to locate any obvious distractions that might limit the grade.
